What is Equine Risk Management?
It is a never ending process for identification, assessment, and analysis of risks associated with the equestrian sport. Risk management initiates control, avoidance, minimization, or elimination of unacceptable situations that could pose a danger and/or threat to humans and/or horses who are associated with the equestrian industry.
And in some cases, Risk Management is the acceptance of a portion or all of the consequences of a particular risk associated with the equine industry.
Effective Risk Management can contribute to the safe conduct of the equestrian sports and all equine associated activities.

A Risk is something that impacts upon the equestrian industry, and its participants and spectators as a result of accidents, natural causes, and disaster.
